Membership

The European chemicals legislation REACH requires chemical substances that are placed on the EU market to be registered with the Chemicals Agency ECHA. Following ECHA’s principle “one substance, one registration” the members of the consortium undertake to cooperate and share human and financial resources to comply with the requirements of REACH for the consortium substances.

The IP Consortium was founded in 2008 by six European manufacturers, importers, and Only Representatives as defined under REACH of one or more inorganic phosphate substances. Between 2008 and 2012 numerous companies joined the IP Consortium, counting 15 active members today. The IP Consortium members are:
